For professional grade applications. Works on up to 17-gauge cold rolled steel. Eat through sheet-metal without deformation of edges. Cut over an inch a second with unmatched balance.
I was skeptical other rodents would take much more but this one sliced through 18 acres like butter. In fact, I had to slow down, otherwise the cut would be in a completely different place. The cut out details are very small and messy, but I used a magnetic brush and missed. Wear safety goggles as computers can go anywhere.
Pros
Eat through sheet metal without deforming the edges
It was used to cut many 20 gauge steel and auto body panels. Works fantastic. I run the air compressor at about 110 psi. Cuts smooth and evenly. The only downside is the small, very sharp, semi-circular shavings it spits out. They dig into the soles of my boots. I spent about 20 minutes picking them all out of my last pair of shoes. Lesson: SWEEP FLOOR IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE.
This is a very high quality tool. It cuts very well on 18 gauge CR steel which I use for old auto patch panels. The only problem I have is that there is no mark on the cutter for you to follow the line. To cut a straight line, it's best if you can clamp a straight edge (wood or steel) to a fence. If you try it by hand, you will most likely end up with a wavy cut line. It cuts really fast and yes it produces a lot of little crescent shaped shreds but I don't see that as a problem. When I cut…
