Disclaimer: I am an amateur player. Do not play competitive games or PvP. Picture quality is amazing and feels very smooth compared to the 60Hz display I had previously. The level of detail is razor sharp and the image is very pleasing to look at. My room is quite dark (hehe) so brightness is not a problem. I love the monitor and would definitely recommend it.

The color quality is really great, so no complaints, but the monitor randomly turns off or restarts when you're watching something or playing a game. The screen goes black for about 2-5 seconds and the image returns. The base of the monitor is also absolutely massive, I had to make room for the monitor to fit on my desk. HDR doesn't seem that good, it seems very inconsistent in how it tries to change exposure. I would only recommend this monitor if you want to watch 4k videos and not games.

Great panel for gaming and viewing general content. The colors are very accurate and the contrast is very good. I've found that viewing angles (especially up close) are less than stellar and there is a degree of light leakage that can be affected by body flexing. Annoying, but I only noticed it on a very dark or black screen.

This monitor is best for 4K gaming. Based on a buggy Pg27uq, I've concluded that the display stream compression you get with this monitor is much better than the chroma subsampling found on the $1,500 Pg27uq. DSC offers 4K 144Hz HDR, while Chroma only offers 98Hz HDR. This monitor was made in 2020 which means the best panel. Please note that you need an Ampere card (series 20) to use DSC. Amazing resolution, refresh rate is the key to the future. The best looking ROG monitor overall, not overly impressed by the TN and VA panels. I liked the higher refresh rate of the TN-XG248 panel, but I don't think the new 360Hz IPS panels were the right upgrade at the time.
