I compare it with Acer PE320QK. It's a 4k IPS monitor at 60Hz. has about the same nits as this monitor, 550 nits. Out of the box, the Asus has excellent color reproduction, but with some tweaking I was able to get the same color as the Acer. However, Asus is definitely brighter. I haven't had any major issues with this monitor other than the dirty screen effect in the corners. This is only visible when there is a black image on the screen, e.g. B. Loading screens or computer startup screens. Other than that, this is the best 4K high refresh rate monitor you will find anywhere. qc is frustrating but the dirty screen is the only problem i had. hdr is practically useless due to the average contrast of the display, but srgb is 99% and the display is fast.

It's a good monitor for 1440p and 4k, but the input lag at 4k is noticeable if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. A few issues I have other than latency are the lack of fast input switching and input detection. It can take a while for the input to be swapped, and when you do, sometimes the recognition isn't fast enough, causing you to switch between inputs hoping they'll get through.

Thank goodness for a monitor in this price range. This is by far the best monitor you can get for the price. I've been using this monitor for both desktop and gaming for a few weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. I've had no trouble running 4K @ 144 on an RTX 2070, although obviously 4K is only really viable in certain games. There is no flickering, the image quality is excellent, the input lag is almost zero. I don't regret this purchase at all.

Like day and night when working with a 1080p monitor, the only thing that bothers me is that the menu buttons on the back of the monitor feel cheap, like a 1980s tiger picker. It's weird for me because I've only had Rogg/Asus monitors for 20+ years.

You'll have to fiddle with Windows settings (display and extended display) to enable 144Hz unless you're already replacing a 144Hz monitor and haven't changed it before. You'll also need to adjust your power settings so your graphics card doesn't try to go into sleep mode. Otherwise this monitor is great.

The colors and performance of this monitor are about what you would expect for the price, but now I've found a small dead pixel that I can't see.

I bought this monitor hoping to use it for both gaming and work, but unfortunately this monitor doesn't seem to support a clamshell MacBook Pro at all. When the laptop goes into clamshell mode, the screen just flickers and flashes endlessly. You don't even wake up from sleep. Unfortunately had to go back. I ended up getting an LG 4K 144Hz monitor and it worked with my MBP right away. Otherwise, it's great for playing on a Windows computer.

I'm not a ROG fan but this monitor is too bad for a 27" monitor! Quality is bomb! It may not be the best 4K monitor but 4K 144Hz for this monitor is actually the best lol it is A bit overpriced but definitely worth the price!

I would not recommend this product to anyone, lines of pixels appear on the screen when watching video content in Chrome browser, using applications made with Electron and some other specific programs. I sent the device back for factory repair and received the same defective product with the same behavior. The product looked like ASUS support didn't even open the box to fix it. I'll update this if Asus gets it right!
