Impressive for games

People spend $1,100 on a plane ticket, a golf club, or a fancy watch. But if you ask me, it was worth every penny for the hardcore gamer who sits on his ass and enjoys smashing monsters and saving the world from dragons. I upgraded to this monitor from a 2556x1440p 165Hz monitor (ASUS) and it is absolutely amazing. The quality, depth and color of the image brings richness to the games I love. Of course I haven't even played cyberpunk, which is mind blowing. FPS - I use a 2080 GPU (can't find a 3080) and maintain over 60fps in open world RPGs on Ultra. I was skeptical about 4k because I had them before and my cards just couldn't deliver FPS. Now I think that has changed and when I get my hands on the 3080/3090 I will be geared up for next-gen gaming systems and will love this monitor. I warn people it's bright. Use HDR if you don't like super bright images. CONNECT CORRECTLY - I freaked out because my monitor only showed 59.3Hz after I connected it. Complete noob bug, I connected DP to DP on my motherboard, not on my GPU. Luckily, the customer support was very helpful and I had the issue resolved within a day.
