Good and useless on computers and accessories

First of all, my deep love for gadgets, electronic toys and technology in general is a thing of the past. since i watched tv I've had an Asus Transformer TF101 for 4 months and I really like the tablet itself. On the other hand, the dock was a useful burden. The useful side strictly refers to the additional capabilities of external storage. I have a 32GB TF101 with a 32GB micro SD and a 64GB SD and my friends use their USB hard drives in the ports for movies and other media. When it comes to…

Outstanding accessory, trendsetter

Very nice accessory. The keys have nothing special, just a standard layout and tiptoe. They work well, but not as smoothly as we would like. They're well spaced and have a rubbery feel, making them easy to hold and type with your fingers. The mouse pad is comfortable but a little touchy. If you type and let one of your thumbs touch it, your cursor changes position on the screen and you end up typing in the middle of previous words/phrases. It's a little annoying, but I think you get used to it.

Great addition to the tablet!

Convertible tablet is really good but with the dock I now have a netbook with longer battery life. However, the buttons take some getting used to. The Shift key on the right side of the keyboard is a bit small and I often miss it when typing. I'm getting used to it, so I don't think it will be a problem for very long. I have a couple of netbooks (Dell Mini and Acer) and the Asus keyboard is just as good as those keyboards. There's actually a slight gap between the keys, which I like. I have…

Terrible support

I was very happy with this product, at least until I had to contact ASUS support. I have a TF101 tablet purchased in July 2011 and a dock/keyboard purchased in October 2011. The tablet was ok, but there were problems with the docking station. The first thing I got was DOA so I returned it to Revane. The second was fine for three months, but then had an issue where some keys would intermittently drop out. Please note nothing was spilled on the keyboard and there was no other physical damage. In…

Great docking station with very few problems

I've had the transformer and the docking station for about 3 weeks now and I have to say I'm having way too much fun with them! Asus has delivered on its promise and any issues the dock used to have are now gone. I love the fact that I can just charge my tablet and dock it at night and use it actively throughout the day and not have to charge it until I go to bed. Here's how I define heavy use: 1. I'm a returning college student and I come to school an hour every day. So charging is not as easy

Excellent

When I bought my Asus Transformer TF101 I avoided the keyboard dock. After all, I bought a tablet, not a netbook, and tablets don't have physical keyboards. The tablet itself is good for traveling. That's convenient, but typing even on a big-screen virtual keyboard isn't the best option. I finally broke down and got this keyboard dock. I was positively surprised. Everything worked right out of the box. In addition to the keyboard, I have a full-size SD card slot, two USB ports, and an extra…

A must have for the Asus Transformer Tablet in my opinion.

So I ordered the Asus Transformer 16GB tablet and immediately decided I wanted the USB functionality in the keyboard dock. But it's much more than that. Pros: Wow, typing on a real keyboard is much more accurate and easier than on a virtual keyboard. Of course, you don't get word suggestions or spell checking, but that doesn't bother me. I know we all make mistakes when typing. Keep in mind that this keyboard is tablet-sized, so it's smaller than a regular keyboard, more like a netbook-sized…
