Works like a champ.

Although I think this is an updated model. Just don't use Energizer batteries in it, they will run out so quickly and the menu will go out. If I don't need a new one, take it. I love all the reminders and features. It's always good to have a landline in Southern California in case of a power outage, which happened to me in 1996. Two lines in case you need one for work. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Very good price

$20 landline gift

I was looking for a basic phone and bought this product. I set it up, connected the handset and telephone line. In the middle of the first conversation, the receiver disappeared. I clicked on the attachment but no connection was made. This has happened on several calls before, so this phone is only used when the power goes out. Wasted $20 and disappointment.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quality

I can confirm that this phone is rubbish!

Bought 2 of these to replace my home phone. The first worked on the first call and after that I couldn't talk through the handset. I called AT&T support and all they could say was that the phone was broken. The second is in place now but I got disconnected twice and also had some issues with the phone. So he's probably going back to Revain too.

Good packaging - short life

This is the SECOND of these models that I have ordered and installed. I don't know what the problem is but it worked fine for about 2 hours. Went to sleep. I couldn't get through the next morning. The beep was present but virtually unrecorded. It's strange that two passed out. The supplier was more than cooperative on the issue of cost and shipping reimbursement. Otherwise my telephone service works fine.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Quality needs some work

I need a cheap 2 line phone. The price was good but overall I'm not very happy with the purchase due to simple quality issues - the spring won't release the button when I pick up the phone. I end up pressing the base station to release the button so I can answer or make a call. I suppose I could open up the base unit and replace it with a stiffer spring, but that just seems like poor design and/or quality control.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Good two line phone

got this phone for back office work, front display model. In general, it works like a simple two-line phone, but. With the display model, it automatically picks up the ring line when you pick up the handset. On this phone, you must manually press the line button before picking up the handset. Come on, ATT, what 80's are these. In addition, this phone uses 4 AA batteries instead of an AC adapter. So ATT saves $2 on the power supply and I spend $3 on batteries a few times a year. How does it make
