AT&T 959 Speakerphone with Caller ID - White/Mist Review

This purchase was perfect! My husband and I are very satisfied! Thank you! We thought we would have to rewire the entire phone area in the kitchen because the phone was difficult to replace!

1. The speakerphone works (poor quality) but the microphone doesn't work at all.2. Background noise is worse than the 7 year old phone it replaces and the second phone I tested. I tested on two ports.[.]The low price and many features of this phone are very attractive. Too bad it's a pizza carp if you understand me.

The ATT 959 hands-free phone is a very good phone. until you use it as a speakerphone. The volume is not high enough to use the speakerphone. Otherwise it's a great phone. The keys have good tactile feedback and feel solid. The caller ID screen is dimmable and easy to read.

Overall a good phone. Budget. Well built. Lots of features. The speaker works perfectly for its price. Features like caller ID and speakerphone are battery powered. As another reviewer noted, the battery only lasts a few months even if you don't use the battery-powered speaker often. This phone would be a great phone (for the price) if it didn't use batteries but was a plug-in model.

I bought this phone because like everyone else all my phones are completely useless when the power goes out in winter. It does its job well, looks really nice on a desk and the speakerphone works like a bell. I can certainly survive hours or days without a phone, but I highly recommend having one in case the power goes out.

This would be a great phone if the speakerphone worked and if the angle of the desk top allowed me to read the information on the display while seated. I got up to read the numbers otherwise they are all 8888888888888 from where I am sitting. Adjusting the contrast did not help. The worst thing, of course, is that the person I was talking to couldn't hear me speaking through the speakerphone. The item has been returned.

The speaker on this phone did not work for me. The far end told me that I sounded like I was talking underwater or that I sounded very far away when I spoke through the speaker. They sent me two phones from this company. I asked them not to send me another phone. At my request, I had another one delivered. Both phones didn't work for me due to a broken speaker. I was refunded the amount due minus the delivery of the first phone. In my opinion it was wrong due to a phone malfunction.

Very happy with this phone. I like the features like the big buttons, the ability to differentiate if you want call history. It even gives you the option to decide if you want to record every call for the people who have called you 4 or 5 times, or you can just combine it as one record with the last call information. Love the fact that it's not an answering machine as I have voicemail but it has all the other features you could want on your phone. I highly recommend this phone if you just want…
