Very happy with this little guy. My sound engineer left me at the last minute so I took this mount and put it and my stem on the C-pillar. Time for filming and can be used continuously for location shoots for several months.

Does its job effectively. Update: It's been a year and this thing has never let me down. I click and drag it (from the book pen) to place it where I want it. It still looks like new! Easily clips into a standard rack clip

I really like this simple thing that helps a freelancer like me who has a lot of stuff to work with. Makes life easier, I never have to worry about an arrow. It fits like a glove and had no issues with slipping or tipping over. Well made and durable if you need it for shooting this is what you need.

I'm surprised how long the rubber lasted on this one. My others used to fall apart over time, tumbling around in the box and adjusting to the different monkeys on set. It also has slightly more rod length than others I've had in the past. This thing has been crushed, kicked, knocked over and everything else you can think of and it still works fine.

This rod holder is strong, simple and works great. (It seems the only negative reviews are for a different product - outdated info.) The slight extra length of the mounting bolt gives clearance both for inserting the arrow and for working with the grip head it mounts into. Please note that it is designed to be installed on a stand with a handle and is useless without a handle. (Grip head not included but available for around $25.)

Get a head with a good grip and a solid stand, preferably a C-stand. This boom rod holder works great, but is only as strong as the stand and gripper head you use it with. No claims for this product. It works great and is a must have. I have a colleague who has a fancy arrow holder that probably costs 10 times more than this one. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen and literally does the same job as this simple arrow holder. Considering the cost, this is not a problem. I have two of these…
