Working computer and accessories

The device works. That's all. It's a bit pricey for a hub, but if you've bought Atomos products you probably have some cash to part with anyway. The only criticism is the length of the cable. An extra foot or two would be very welcome.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not made to last. good for docking stations

If you have Atomos Shogun/Ninja cases they will fit because you need to hold the cable at a severe angle. The USB cable ended up not working. I've had 3 outages in 3 years and haven't put up with it if it means messing around with media all night trying to get a reliable transmission started - usually at night AFTER a big shoot. A separate cable might help. I don't know but it's after 5am and I want to go to bed and I wish I had two of these that actually work. But no. I have a. (about 2 months

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

overpriced. There are similar products without the Atomos name.

The price is too high. There are similar products without the Atomos name for $10. My version came with a twisted pair cable, so the drive will be upside down when the USB connector is plugged in properly.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Almost everything available

It works, that's all.

$50 is too expensive. Quality and design under the base. They don't close very well and it's open. It should have sides and a top that cover the SSD.

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • too stupid

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works well but the USB cable is too small.

The PC I use for editing is a tall tower computer and my USB 3.0 ports are in the center front of the case. The USB cable is not enough. I need to place the Atomos Accessory Kit close to my tower so the dock is high enough to reach my PC. I suppose I can buy extension cords, but it's not necessary. The USB cable is only about 9 inches long. That's ridiculous. It's not that fast either, and if you're moving a full 2TB drive it can take a long time. I can use eSATA instead, which is faster.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things
