Ideal for spares

Well made, perfect for my TH350, this was the easiest leak I fixed when my car was on the lift. No more leaks after 2 weeks of installation.

Pros
  • Automatic Transmission
Cons
  • Some trouble

14 days serviced Taiwan item not US quality

I bought this because another reviewer said how superior it is to the sfk brand and that it was made in the USA and pictures showed. It clearly says "made in Taiwan" and is twice as thin as what it shows in its review. Needless to say I'm disappointed in both cases and probably won't even use it in my TH400. To make matters worse, delivery took 14 days.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great seal for your shift shaft!

This seal is suitable for various gearboxes. It is intended to seal the passage of the selector shaft through the gearbox housing. I installed this in 4L60e in Firebird. I strongly recommend using the uninstall/install tool available on the internet and in car dealerships. This simplifies removal and installation. The very small size of this seal makes it difficult to remove without it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin

I bought both ATP and SKF oil seals, day and night differ in these parts. Both are made in the USA, but the similarities end at the place of origin. I was a bit hesitant to buy a piece of ATP so I got another one from a local store. Didn't get a chance to do the install and I'm glad I waited, the ATP part definitely looks better in every way! Btw, I bought a compaction tool through my local NAPA, it's less than $7. cheapest source. If my mind changes after installing it, I'll update. But IMHO…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
