Gears and Parts Worth the Wait

If you can wait a day or two for delivery, this is a good choice. My husband put this on our 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. Transmission stuck in "automatic mode". This part was repaired immediately at local auto parts stores for half the cost. I would definitely buy this again.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Money box price

Fits as promised (98' Dodge Grand Caravan 3

Fits as promised (98' Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 or 3.8. Replaced 3.8. 3.3 engine last year, everything fits.) But you need to install the gasket with the RV just around the outside edge first wait an hour then put in your computer solenoid no leaks anywhere yet I can tell I added the sensors while I was there and also the trans radiator lines maybe so. I never feel like it shifts, it spooked me at first when I had to double take shots to make sure my RPMs change.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost OK

Relatively easy DIY repair

My wife's 2002 Sebring started leaking pretty badly. Thought it was the bottom gasket at first, but a quick google search revealed that the magneto block gasket was a common problem on Chryslers. I removed the air intake box and took a good look at the area of the solenoid block. Pretty obvious leaks. Used gunk spray cleaner to get rid of most of the dirt. Disconnected the coolant hose over the middle screw so I could get to the screw more easily. I had to loosen this screw with a short size 10

Pros
  • Transmission and parts
Cons
  • Upgradeable
