Good quality product for my Jon boat

I bought this and the matching plug for my electric motor on my Jon boat and they work great. This product comes highly recommended

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Get the right accessory solution

You named this outlet, it's not! This is a plug, you must show it openly. He has two male hands, so should he be called male and not female? Is that why I had to send it back?

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • There is a problem

That's not a woman! It's a plug!

This is for a socket, I have a plug. Didn't check before installing. I have now connected everything and it is wrong. Wasted labor, cables and plugs.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • old

Description is wrong.

Bought in March and just opened for installation. He says this is a female container, but it's actually male. It's too late to bring it back now. I guess I should have opened it when I got it. A female vessel is now being sought.

Great Quality!: Accessory

I used this and a small cutting board to make a custom panel for my boat remodeling project. Worked great as a more permanent mounting option for my tiller trolling motor. Also use them as bass boat replacements and they are great quality.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad

Standard trolling connection, note a few things!

Be sure to attach this connector to an easily accessible location on the kayak. If you mount vertically instead of horizontally, you have a better chance of not unplugging accidentally or due to the weight of the motor cable, which can be an issue when attaching to the chop.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons

Has design issues

I am not excited about this product because it was designed for the boat side (hot side) of the connector and it speaks and looks like the female end of the connector, you need for the boat side (hot side) of the plug. However, when you open the spring-loaded cap you have two exposed pins about half an inch apart, not what you want on the hot side of your connector. I was about to travel when I hooked it up, otherwise I would have sent it back. At the end of the season I will do the hole again.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • ---

I received a new trolling motor with a quick release bracket that makes removing my trolling motor very easy. My old motor was wired directly to the switch and battery which would have been a problem removing the new motor. I installed it in the boat using the same hole the original wires went through, just modified a little. I bought the right connector separately and connected it to the motor. Now it can be plugged in and run or the motor can be unplugged and removed, which is very easy and…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Nothing
