Good replacement for gearbox and transmission

Perfect replacement for a worn out mirror boot. Separate so you don't have to cut anything and trim to the correct diameter. Very nice, looks original. I will buy more.

Pros
  • Complete kit includes replacement boot, gasket and cable tie
Cons
  • Empty

Sooo much better than unhooking everything

Sooooo much better than unhooking everything. A good seam overlap should prevent moisture from completely flooding the engine compartment. Good product!

Pros
  • Has a split side for easy installation without removing steering or engine control cables
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Fits well after a little effort

After some pre-installation prep - tacking the cable together, routing the steering cable differently etc - I was able to mess this up after trimming the "nose " back to a larger diameter. Marked and pre-drilled holes (recommended) and installed the cover, then used zip ties at each fold. Finally used black silicone to seal all the gaps. Everyone said it's no walk in the park, but it's better than unplugging all the cords for a zero-disconnect setup!

Pros
  • Complete kit includes replacement boot, gasket and zip tie
Cons
  • Almost never
