Fuses are garbage.

I really like the product and its design, except for the safety clasps. They are made of inferior plastic or are not suitable for this application because they broke after opening the hood several times.

directions. Best in Hood Pins

so it was a bit difficult to install. no directions. The place where you can unscrew the old ones takes up little space, so small fingers are required. But it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to proceed. Now you need to see if the hood flapping has stopped.

Solid and sharp optics!

I love it! These latches adorn the hood of my old jeep. Very easy assembly - unscrew from below and insert new ones. (However, if you have an old Jeep like mine, the bottom bolts had to be removed in a hurry!) Great upgrade!

Wrong design. You can't close.

I set them to the max and they won't close. The only way to get them to close is to remove the rubber protection and I'm not willing to do that as it would damage the paintwork. Now I have to buy a new set from another supplier.

Recommend this update to all JK Jeepers!

Major upgrade from OEM hood locks. Some adjustment is required to get the correct tension. If it won't snap or is too loose, it just needs to be adjusted. Filmed a video about the installation and verification. Search YouTube for "Experiment Urban Master's Jeep Hood Latches"

Requires custom installation.

I had to drill holes in the main clamp body. The screws did not go through the holes in the slots. The plastic security tab is not properly designed compared to the OEM hardware and could not be used. Satisfaction. The price was good so overall I learned my lesson.

Better than factory locks!

They were a bit tricky to install as you have to disassemble one part to install. It would have been nice if it just fell apart as one of the screws had snapped a bit and taking it apart and putting it back together was a bit of a challenge. After going through the entire installation, it works very well. My hood moved noticeably at high speeds and now it doesn't move at all! Also, it looks better than the plastic ones. Still easy to unlock and I still recommend it.
