Aupoko GQ4-53T Keyless Entry Fob: 2 Programmable Remote Keys for Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 (2013-2018) Review

These FOBs look nice. They actually look the same as OEM FOB, but they are not programmable and therefore completely useless to me. Maybe it's a truck, but the key fobs work fine for us, except the remote start no longer works.

I tried to program them following the instructions you can find on google. It did not work. So I thought a bit and decided to take the planks out of my old broken keychains and put them in these. Went like clockwork. Now I have two new keychains that work great.

I bought these because I only had one working key for my truck. I have AlfaOBD and OBDLink MX+. Using these key fobs and my programmer, I was able to add keys to my truck in minutes. Great price as the dealer wanted $300 for a key. If these keys fail sooner I will update this review but after 2 days they are working great.

Bought these to replace 2 key fobs for our 2014 Dodge Ram. The buttons gradually stopped working. Finally we found a place and programmed them. Unfortunately they didn't work. We refused to pay over $400 each for a new key fob at the dealer. As a last resort we removed the pins from these replacement fobs and put them in the original fobs and now we have 2 original fobs that work!

These key fobs fit my 2014 RAM 1500 Express. All four buttons work. I programmed these fobs using an OBDLink MX+ scanner and AlfaOBD software ($149 for both). Pretty cheap compared to what dealers will charge you to program two keyfobs. These keychains will be my backup. This is my first review but I have been using Revain for several years now. My ram key fob was starting to have problems so I went to the dealer and they said about $400 a key for a new one.
