Auriphile rocks! best for sewing

One of the finest cotton yarns for quilting. Unlike polyester thread, I rarely have tension issues when using it in FMQ.

Pros
  • 100% Long Staple Egyptian Mercerized Cotton

Very Smooth: Embroidery & Dental Floss Thread

This thread is so smooth my sewing machine works much better with it. I get a quarter inch seam, no problems with this thread. Ideal for quilting and general sewing. Very smooth yarn, less fluff than other cotton yarns.

Pros
  • 100% Mercerized Egyptian Cotton
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Where has that hidden in my 40 years of professional sewing!

I have been sewing professionally for many years and a friend of mine who makes quilts told me about this brand of thread. I can't believe I never knew about this before. It glides over my car with utmost ease! I ended up buying this in every color of the rainbow and then some! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • For machine embroidery, quilting and overcasting
Cons
  • Not as thick as other threads
