Excellent quality cotton thread for Arts and Crafts

I recently used THIS thread for my scrapbooking project and was pleasantly surprised by its quality. The thread is strong and durable which made it easy for me to stitch through many layers of paper without breaking. The thread also has a beautiful sheen which added a lovely finishing touch to my project .My only small issue was that the thread was slightly more expensive than other cotton threads I have used in the past..

Pros
  • Durable
Cons
  • Not suitable for delicate fabrics

Surprisingly Durable Thread

This thread exceeded my expectations and held up during stressful sewing situations .Through trial and error I found that the color remained vibrant even after washing. I appreciated the VARIETY of colors available, making it easy to mix and match for my next arts and crafts project. The only downside was the price, but the durability and quality make it worth the investment..

Pros
  • 1422 yards provide a generous amount of thread for multiple projects
Cons
  • Periodicity

Beware of thread cuts

Although I bought this thread last July it was carefully sealed and I made the mistake of leaving it until I finally needed the thread today. Imagine my surprise when I found a lot of cut thread ends sticking out of the top of the spool. It seems that when I get to these areas I will have many breaks in the chain. Now it is too late to take up the subject again. Aurifil is too expensive for customers to accept such poor quality.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
