Lackluster Invisible Thread For Arts and Crafts

This thread didn't deliver as it was supposed to. Based on our own experience, it didn't blend in well with the fabric, making it visible on the final product. The only pro is that it's strong, but that doesn't matter if it's not invisible. The con is that it's not truly invisible, which defeats the purpose of buying this thread.

Pros
  • Durable and strong
Cons
  • Not suitable for heavy fabrics

The best invisible thread.

Excellent thread. I've tried several other invisible threads but they were difficult to use and stuck in my machine. It's difficult to thread because it's not stiff enough for my automatic needle threader, but once threaded it didn't get scruffy like previous threads I've tried. I was able to sew an entire quilt without threading.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Excellent thread. Adjust the tension on the fabric swatch and sew!

I sewed with invisible thread for the first time. I've seen a lot of pros and cons. And they took voltage matching seriously. I quilted a small blanket, the thread only broke twice. Operator error, I'm sure. This is good stuff. I tensed up a lot and made sure not to forget it. I also used a metal needle (big eye). I will become a regular customer!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • A few little things
