I've had this installed for about 1000 miles. It works well with some heat shrink on the electrical connections. My kit did NOT come with the shims. I recommend you pre-order the shims from the dealership as I was quoted 2 days to get the parts in.My only complaint about the clutch kit was that a tolerance stack-up exists for the snap ring which retains the bearing. I was never able to completely get the snap ring to seat to my satisfaction. It is like the assembly was about 0.010 inch too…

Part purchased to fix a failed AC clutch on a 2010 Honda Civic. The kit fix ok, and works. However, I had to reuse the retainer clips and clutch spacer from the old assembly as the new ones were the incorrect size, so beware

I installed this product in a 2010 Honda Civic. I was able to remove the alternator, right front wheel and fender well and remove the A/C compressor (without removing the freon lines) to change the clutch.Most difficult portion was in removing the second (inner) snap ring. It is important to have a quality 7”-8” (not bulky) external snap ring pliers. Work good. May require professional assistance for installation. Might need to buy some different shims for right spacing. Great YouTube videos to watch for help changing.

Good quality, tight bearings, no wobble. I was very happy with the part. A/C works great now and the clutch engages and disengages very quietly.

This part saves my summer . I’ve got an 06 civic coupe with 175k miles . lost AC clutch stopped engaging . instead of buying a new compressor I did this . was a bit more of a pain to get installed vs compressed replacement but saved me a a decent amount of cash . And AC is blowing as cold as winter in Alaska
