Large, clear, easy to read displays. As with most water temp gauges, the normal temp is at the 9 o'clock position for some reason, and the rest of the gauge is just there to let you know how badly you've screwed up if you don't stop and deal with it overheating . release immediately! I used mine as a temporary transfer so this worked great for me! I prefer mechanical sensors for their accuracy and reliability, and they are no exception.
