Replacement Plastic Line

Replaced the plastic line I got for my oil level gauge, unfortunately it doesn't come with it if you buy the gauge in place of the plastic line. The new copper line worked perfectly as expected

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Gone

Copper Pipe SHORT

Trying to install it on a 1984 Toyota pickup. The copper line was too short, even though I took the shortest and ugliest route from the cylinder block to the firewall. The tube is shorter by 2-3 meters. How painful.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Boring Package

The second one I ordered WILL NOT FIT A 1970'S CORVETTE.

The second one I ordered WILL NOT FIT A 1970'S CORVETTE - THE BRASS RAILS (BARREL) IS EITHER TOO SMALL OR the 90 degree angled brass thread is too long - DOES NOT COMPRESS! OIL IS BACK IN MY INTERIOR

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Must be! - Gauges

Never use nylon tubing! Over time it will leak and make a serious mess in the cabin. Spend more money and get this kit. Includes 6' 1/8" hoses, two compression fittings and an adapter for use with Autometer mechanical pressure gauges. Just buy this kit and save yourself the headache!

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Some troubles

Good and efficient for the price, installation can leave vibrations.

Used this tube to replace the plastic tube that came with my meter so I could park my car on the track. After using it, I noticed a distinct buzz from my sensor. After some research, I found this to be a fairly common occurrence as it offers a direct acoustic path that plastic tubing doesn't. Be sure to install service loops in both the engine compartment and cab when running a pressure gauge through a firewall. It was a low-cost option that outperformed polyethylene tubing, which complied with

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
