Well, it came out best in "Lighting and Electrical "

The quality of the autometer isn't what it used to be, of course I had 5 breakdowns, I me just sat on 3 different cars in the garage but I've invested so much in them that I have to buy them all to match the rest of the sensors in the car. All three cars have a different design, but the cheap plastic sensor housing falls off. They used to be much better

Pros
  • Conventional incandescent bulbs illuminate the perimeter of the dial
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works great, got what I needed.

Accurate, Fast and looks great Great A really classic AutoMeter I would recommend buying an LED bulb for it Came with the fitting I needed which was good and made the installation easy Make sure you use thread sealant or Installed on a Celica 75 with a 22R hybrid engine along with an AutoMeter oil pressure gauge.

Pros
  • Gauge Kit includes 1/8" NPT temperature probe, 3/8" and 1/2" NPT adapters, bulb and socket assemblies, red and green bulb caps, hardware and detailed installation instructions
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Didn't work right out of the box

I put this on and it misread the temp, it showed my car was overheating then it shows it's normal. He continued to make false statements, this is not certain. I spend a lot of money on things that never worked

Pros
  • Water temp
Cons
  • Nothing

I love autometers. So I bought another one.

I installed an oil pressure switch and it works great. I then installed a water temp sensor and it seemed to work great. I noticed that my car is getting warm. So I took him to a radiator specialist. He brought the thermal gun to the sensor and it turned out to be 30* colder than the sensor indicated. Bad clinical thermometer!

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Clarity

Well, it was good for the water temperature

The quality of the autometer is certainly not what it used to be, I had 5 failures, I was sitting in the garage on three different cars, but I They invested so much that they all have to keep buying to match the rest of the sensors in the car. All three cars have a different design. So buy one at a time if they fail or your face falls off the cheap plastic sensor case. They used to be of much better quality.

Pros
  • Lighting and electricity
Cons
  • So-so

Works great, got what I needed.

Accurate, fast and looks great. Classic AutoMeter indeed. But I would recommend buying an LED light bulb. Came with the fitting I needed which was nice and made installation easy. Make sure you have thread sealant or tape. I've used Permatex thread sealant and it works great. Installed on Celica 75 with 22R hybrid engine together with AutoMeter oil pressure sensor.

Pros
  • Electric
Cons
  • Crumpled
