Thank you Autometer!

This fixes the problem with my '68 Mustang fuel gauge showing 3/4 full tank. I eventually learned that all reproduced fuel gauges are linear while the original is non-linear. This thing converts the linear signal from my reproduction fuel gauge to the correct fuel gauge signal. And it's a real Ford fuel gauge, so it works with other gauges, not just Auto Meter gauges. There are several pre-programmed settings to choose from so setup was a breeze!

Works perfectly! in sensors

Works well. It takes time to connect the wires. And I wish it had better editing options. It would be nice if it had a mount and a body that could be slotted into the mount.

Pros
  • Low fuel warning at 10% and off at 15% with the ability to trigger an LED or relay

Pontiac GM 4th Gen LS1 to 3rd Gen Dashboard 100%

Nice to have a fuel gauge. Easy to set up. After plugging it in it was on and turned on after 5 minutes. For some reason I had to swap "Empty" and "Full". It showed empty when the tank was full. Now everything is in order. I think it's because the 4th gen sensor is backwards. 240 ohm is empty and 30 ohm is filled. The 3rd generation is empty 0 ohms and full 90 ohms. Return. This gadget fixes that! If you need a good speedometer module to make your speedometer work, use Dakota Digital.

Pros
  • Universal Fit
Cons
  • Out of Style
