Carburettor screwed in correctly but fuel and air lines did not match existing hoses. Jets, floats and other moving parts pulled out and put in my old carburetor.

I was skeptical about the quality of the carb at this price point. I figured I would have to adjust the connectors and hoses. But it was perfect for my car. I bolted it on, started the car and all I had to do was tweak the idle a bit. Many thanks to the seller for a good job!

The carburettor can be fitted without any problems as this is a very cramped workplace. I had to adjust the idle, which was to be expected. The stock fuel line is too small to fit on the carburetor fuel inlet, so I had to use a short length of 3/8" ID fuel line to install it properly. They offer a fuel filter, which is nice. I was able to easily seal the large fuel line to the filter with a small zip tie.

TRX250TE owners: This is NOT a plug and play replacement! The carburetor mounts nicely to the engine block, but remember that modifications are yet to come. First, the stock fuel line is too big for this carburetor. Second, the stock throttle housing bracket is too small to bolt onto this new carburetor. The seller sent me a new cable for half the price that fits, but it's too long and I had to modify it. In my opinion this would not be considered a 'straight' fit and should not even be listed…

I changed the engine on my 2002 Honda Recon and the good engine needed a new carburetor. I found this one online and bought it instead of restoring the old one. Big mistake! Those carbs are no good. I installed a new carburetor and my bike could have gone to the moon if it hadn't choked.
