🌧️ X AUTOHAUX Toyota Prius Prime 17-18 Windshield Wiper Blades Set - 28" 16" Blades Review

Purchased for a 2017 Toyota Prius Prime when the original OEM failed. They fit perfectly, installation was easy, but the first rain I rode in showed they had design issues. My observation is that the beam isn't stiff enough to distribute the load evenly, and the center of the blade puts more pressure on the windshield, leaving a large plume of water right in the middle of my field of view. 3 year old OEMs (before they broke) worked better than these.

Seems to be of decent quality but only time will tell. The originals lasted almost 3 years. The right blade is slightly longer than the original. Servco owns both Toyota dealerships on Oahu. Even if you bought their blades for 5x what Autohaux did, they will still charge you for installation. (I remember being told $25.) I installed it in minutes for each blade just following the Youtube example. Thank you to previous reviewers for pointing out that this product is a match for my Prime.

Prius V wipers are hard to find and were hoping they would be a good replacement. Unfortunately, they don't clean the water very well. Water is constantly dripping from the right windshield wiper onto the driver's window. Also, the blades don't match the curvature well and gaps in wiping appear. This is worst if you're just trying to clean windows with washer fluid and blades. I gave them three months and then gave up and bought real Toyota wipers from an online parts supplier and the wipers…
