Not the best manual but easy to understand. I bought it to use as a winter swimmer or swimmer charger, but it can also be used as a regular battery charger. It also has the ability to charge jelly or regular batteries.

So I thought it was worthless! Then I found the correct review that said the alligator clips were connected backwards! I did the same electrical repair cutting wires by switching to correct polarity and it works great just like I thought it would! 👍

Overall good product but the cable with the red and black battery terminals had the red and black terminals reversed polarity. I had to cut the wires and reconnect properly or there would be a reverse connection error! The bolts of the permanent installation clamps are properly installed.

NO operating instructions included. I connected it to a 12v motorcycle battery and it wants to stay in 6v charge mode. I've tried pressing the "mode" button on this thing to change it to 12v but the only thing that happens is the numbers keep flashing. It doesn't change mode. What a piece of Chinese junk. I wouldn't waste your money and time on this junk. Rather spend a little more and buy a good charger/maintainer

I ended up returning it because it kept overcharging my battery. I'm running a small 12V 15Ah battery but that doesn't matter, it should stop charging at around 13.2-13.4V but it just kept running. I stopped it a few times between 13.6 and 13.8 and it still only showed 3 out of 4 loading bars. Maybe it would be better with a bigger battery but I don't want to cook myself so I'm looking for something else.

This little guy is just what I need for my 1965 Chevy truck that I need to park in the garage and keep the battery charged. Just plug in the little guy and you're done! Once you connect to the battery it will do all the work for you, do a battery size/voltage scan, do a battery repair if needed, if the battery is beyond repair it won't charge at all if your battery is ok, it will charge it and then switch to a trickle by itself!

This is definitely a cool smart charger. It was recommended to me by my brother-in-law. I wasn't sure if this would work or not, but I decided to give it a try. And gave him a car battery that I knew was bad. It started on the 15.XV and gradually returned to the 6.XV and soon a bad battery notification appeared. The charger stops charging when the battery is fully charged and does not keep the battery charged. It must be disconnected and reconnected to start charging again, even if the battery voltage has dropped sharply. Hits the charger's target. As if that wasn't enough, until after 2 months it completely failed - no longer lights up or charges. Totally dead. This is currently outside of Revain's return policy and there is no obvious manufacturer website to contact them directly for a replacement…

I have 2 bikes so was told I need one of them for battery maintenance unless I wanted to continue buy a brand new battery. . I installed the connector on the battery and hung it on the back of my gsxr and it hangs neatly on the side of the hood. I plugged it in and it automatically detected the battery type and tested the battery and once fully charged it went into "Winter" maintenance mode. Only used a few times but so far worth the money.
