Fake bags? Not sure but appears to be fake.

I have a leopard print and the material feels like plastic instead of nylon. All of my other Totes umbrellas feel like umbrellas. It's like a plastic bag tearing apart. Too bad because the edges and the button work well. Something is wrong with this model. To return.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • too boring

Attention buyers: do not buy.

This is a really poor quality umbrella. I think Totes is the best product in the line but I don't know why this umbrella is even being sold at this price. The minute we opened it up to try it out (inside), it broke immediately. We had to send it back. It looks cheap compared to my other TOTE umbrellas.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Work with one hand!

Opening and closing an umbrella with two hands is a thing of the past! I will never buy an umbrella again that does NOT open and close with a button. This makes it easier to get in and out in the pouring rain, especially with other things in hand. This unit is also very compact, allowing me to stow it between the driver's seat and the center console so it's always there and ready to go! When I'm indoors, I can even put it in my back pocket under a sports jacket!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Long wait

I love Totes folding umbrellas and bought this one thinking the extra sun protection was a nice feature. I was disappointed that one of the small metal pins connecting one of the metal brackets broke the first time I used the umbrella. It still opens and closes automatically, but only a small piece of metal hangs from the top and part of the top has to be folded in by hand. It's mostly annoying - and the pin (like a tiny rivet) is too small to try to fix with wire. I will probably return it to…

My beautiful Totes umbrella arrived just in time for Hurricane Ida, the remnant of which will be hitting New Jersey tomorrow when I have to go outside. The big test for me was whether I could close and roll it up easily. The last automatic umbrella I owned folded so hard I had to press it against the wall to fold it. It's very difficult when it's pouring rain and you're trying to get in the car. As soon as I opened this one I was so happy to find that when I pushed the button it opened up to a…
