Gives me a better idea of battery health anytime

Use this meter to see the battery health (voltage) of my golf cart. I installed the display on the dash via a built in fuse and on/off toggle switch. Gives me a better idea of battery health at all times instead of waiting for the amber light on the controller to come on.

Nice looking and bright digital display

This was a great addition to my wife's 1998 48v club car. After replacing a faulty charge meter that made it impossible for us to know the status of our battery, I decided to add this digital meter to constantly monitor the battery's voltage, even when it's connected to the charger. . She likes it and so do I.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • old

Shockproof?!? Do not buy!

I researched before buying, the installation was easy. Once installed it has worked great on two trips to my area. On the third day I went to the golf course and on the third T it stopped working. This thing is NOT impact resistant, wasted my money and now I have an inch and a half cut in my dash that won't close.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons

Ease of installation. Best in Golf

Works great. clear instructions. Ease of installation. You can use the installation template, but I'm not giving four stars just because I'm lazy. ******UPDATE 7/6/2019********* This sensor melted while driving. No signs of damaged wiring and nothing wrong with the car. It just warmed up and melted. Look for something the same size or larger to fill the hole in your dash. However.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something different

Golf could be brighter

The voltmeter reads the same as my DMM so seems pretty accurate. The wiring is simple: the meter's hot wire (red) connects to my key switch, and the ground wire (black) connects to the (-) terminal of the last battery in my battery pack. However, the brightness of the display leaves a lot to be desired. It is very difficult to read on a cloudy day, especially in bright sunlight. It's great in the dark, but I rarely drive my golf cart at night.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

1% Accuracy Best Case

Installed on Club Car Precedent. This meter is not very accurate (accuracy is between 1% and 1.5% at best). However, it will work as a general gauge of battery health, and that was my intention. Plugged in via a key switch so it only turns on when the golf cart is running. An unused ground wire located behind the dash (Club Car OEM Dashboard Wiring Harness - Black/White Wire) was used to allow the use of the gauge leads supplied (the spade terminals were crimped onto it). NOTE: It is not…
