Gift for my mother's birthday in a few weeks. Very nice waffle stitch. She loves maroon and I can't wait for her to wear it. She's doing chemo, so she's always cold.

Pro: was long and wide! Comfy tooCon: had a bad smell, even after washing (got 2) they still had the "old" smell. I had to leave dryer sheets in between to get rid of the smell.

I bought this warm scarf for my table. Since purchasing it, I've been using this scarf on my desk for Christmas and Valentine's Day. I have received numerous additions and many are surprised that this is a scarf. It's wide and long enough for my 8 person table.

Overall, I think it's a great, warm scarf! However, compared to some other scarves I've had, it creates a lot of little fluffy balls that like to cling to the beard. I still use a scarf often, but it's a bit disappointing. Also, I think it's a good choice, it's quite comfortable and warm.

I like the length and softness. The scarf feels good on my face and neck and I can wrap it around my neck or even use it as a hat and still have enough length to fasten it. I use it when I go for a walk very early in the morning when it's cold and can be windy. Due to the looser weave, the scarf lets the wind through and depending on the wind, it can get chilly inside.

I was happy when the scarf arrived because it was so soft. It had a weird perfume-chemical smell that still hasn't completely gone after 2 washes. After a single wash, it immediately flaked and hooked. I let it dry and didn't tumble dry it. I haven't even worn it yet, but I'm not going back. I will use it but it's not the best quality.

I decided to try this scarf after reading that some people find it warm. However, I have to agree with others that my scarf smelled like perfume and there were a few threads sticking out around the scarf. I washed it and the smell is gone. Considering the low price I think I have nothing to complain about, it's still a warm scarf and I love the length. I don't mind thickness because I don't live in an area with snow, that works for me in 40 degree weather.
