Look and feel good!

These socks are a gift for my son. He hasn't received them yet, but we'll find out in 2 days! They look good and feel good. They appear to be of good quality.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE FIT: Fully cushioned socks with arch support to keep you on your feet all day.
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Not warm enough on Active

Socks are very comfortable. Have kept feet dry to stay warm but because at 37 degrees Fahrenheit toes were still cold and frozen. I had to use both.

Pros
  • NO IRRITATION: Seamless sockliner provides a smooth fit with no irritation.
Cons
  • Weight

Not warm enough in sports socks

The socks are very comfortable. Keeping my feet dry to stay warm even though my toes were still cold and frozen in 37 degrees Fahrenheit. I had to use both.

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelery
Cons
  • Negative impression

NO merino wool on clothing

The description of this is misleading. I figured since Avalanche is a reputable seller the product would match the description. However, the "wool" content of these socks was only 17%, and in fact they are not "merino". Mainly polyester and acrylic. SO they are overpriced.

Pros
  • clothing
Cons
  • old

eh I would go for 100% merino wool socks

Although advertised as 'medium weight' I would classify them as thin. Perhaps it's more of a material/blend than 100% merino wool, making it a little less desirable for hiking. I only wear them around the house or in the gym for working out, but definitely not for walking.

Pros
  • Sports socks
Cons
  • Shorter cord than others
