I only give 4 stars because this product is very inconsistent. This particular bottle comes from a batch that feels strongly like cocoa butter, almost waxy. I have previously contacted the company regarding this and they have no answers as to why their quality is inconsistent. I still really like it but if it's a wax part I can't wear it every day or my skin will start releasing extra oil. I am switching between this and another product.

I really like this product, although sometimes it's difficult to find a cheap price for the amount of serum. It gives my skin a healthy glow when my face looks a bit earthy during the winter months.

Serum is a light lotion serum as opposed to my favorite Body Shop serum which is more like a gel. It can be worn under a moisturizer or alone. The aroma is not very pleasant. In fact, I used the Avalon Vitamin C Moisturizer once and now I remember why I didn't buy it again: the smell! It reminds me of the smell of rotten oranges on the floor. It's more of a pungent orange smell, similar to the smell of an orange peel after you've peeled it off, rather than the pleasant smell of an orange fruit.

The best vitamin C cream in the history of the world! You can immediately see and feel how it brightens your skin and makes you glow. there is an initial redness when applied but I know it is because the ingredients are strong and the vitamin C is intense and really makes a difference. I've bought so many creams that really don't seem to do anything. For the price, this is the best whitening cream I've ever bought.
