It's not always possible to access a large shredder when sorting mail. They are suitable for shredding postal labels. The rest of the directory is simply sent to the trash.

Very nice. I have arthritis in my hands and I can still use them. They cut very nicely. They can be a little tricky to clean, but the dishwasher does the job if I give them a quick rinse before putting them in.

These scissors can cut 2 to 3 sheets of paper at a time. Paper always gets caught in the blades. These aren't very long blades, for example if you're trying to cut a check the scissors aren't long enough to do it in one motion. Also if you try to cut a lot they are not very comfortable.

I love that I can cut things like sticky labels (which I can't shred in a paper shredder), but it's a slow and tedious job. You'll need to regularly remove bits of material between the blades, but that's easy and to be expected. I love that I can now get rid of hundreds of unwanted mailboxes sent to me by charities. Dear charities, no labels!
