Elgato has competitors.

I've had Elgato Game Capture HD for over a year now and would buy an LGP anytime. First off, let me say that Elgato is still a great product, but I think LGP is the obvious choice for those looking to record to a USB 2.0 capture card. LGP works better with my Junior PC than with my Elgato. I make YouTube videos and my fans have commented on the quality change after switching from Elgato to LGP. LGP also has a "no PC mode" that is AWESOME when traveling and makes it easy to record on a PC. All…
