These boxes are of good quality and well finished. The clasp and hinges are strong and perfect for easy lid closure. The shape of the hexagon is different and I enjoy coloring and decorating it.

Wanted to make something special for my nephew. I bought a music box but didn't like the box it came in so I decided to make a custom box for the mechanical parts. In short, the raw wood made it easy to glue more pieces together and create a beautiful custom paint job. I protected the last box with a clear satin urethane finish. Very happy with this product.

These boxes are made from your typical cheap wood so I think the price was a bit high at the time of purchase; I bought something similar in the same quantity elsewhere for almost half the price so I definitely feel like they were expensive. I love them though and they are a lot bigger than I expected which suits my intended use better anyway. All hardware appears to be properly installed and working, so that's nice too; no side hinges or stuck locks. They open and close easily and appear to be
