Everything is fine with the shelves. They seem to have some sort of "wooden paper" that peels off easily. Not a fan of that. Inexpensive but currently meets my needs.

An epic design mistake. They didn't work on a wall with or without a stand. Don't buy this. I sent them back after a failed attempt to install.

The shelves themselves look nice but the hardware is terrible. I ended up with huge holes in the wall and I had to buy my own anchors so the shelves could support the weight a bit.

The shelves look unfinished and a bit rough but they look great in the bathroom. Installation was easy, but I expected better quality for the price. These shelves represent a much better value than Target's Threshold brand faux wood shelves.

This is a rough design, if you don't drill a bolt you may need to find anchors that fit so it's strong, try 5/16 lever anchors with lever bolts are hard to find in department stores, they are beautiful and durable, this is just an assembly part, a bit incomprehensible

Aesthetically pleasing and good size for textbooks and alcohol bottles. However, if you accidentally hit it from below, the screws seem to move slightly, forcing you to re-tighten them or drill new holes. I only hit her head lightly while picking something up off the ground. A third bar or jumper in the middle would solve this problem.

I haven't installed these shelves yet, but I can tell you they will be strong enough for the books I plan to put on them. I just wish the shelves were a little longer, but overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I will report later on the installation process. Update: Some time after purchasing it I finally installed it. They are difficult to install. They don't seem that strong. One of the shelves is slightly tilted down. Sorry I hate to give a bad review but these shelves don't make sense. The instructions didn't help, it showed shelves with two holes in the wall, which was totally useless. My friend and I spent a whole day installing them. The two large posts intended to support the shelves go deep into the wall but do not support the shelves. As a result, I made two huge holes in the wall, and the shelves just sagged there, nothing held, everything slid off. I'm very mad I bought two sets of these. I was busy
