Is it mold?! Yes, that's right. Buyers be careful

I liked these blocks. They were perfect for my 7 month old to fool around, bite his teeth and make fun noises to keep him entertained. However, my husband noticed an odd discoloration on one of the lighter cartridges. So I cut open the block and it was covered in slimy mold on the inside. Each of the blocks has a small hole, so water or even saliva can get in when washing if milk teeth erupt on them. I threw them all away immediately. Rough!

Not quite ideal for sorting and stacking toys

The blocks are gorgeous and my kid loves them but I have found imperfections on some blocks (slip marks) and black dirt (maybe mold?) on some blocks (phew!). And they must be brand new! Just make sure you clean and disinfect these blocks well before giving them to your child. There is also a piece of cardboard in the middle taking up space where 2 blocks would fit perfectly. Would it be so difficult to add additional blocks that were clearly meant to be worn?

  • Absolutely brilliant!

I love them but are they BPA free?

So far I like the look of the blocks. Nice packaging but I will still sterilize it before my daughter plays with it. The bag has been fully sealed with a zip around the zip so you cannot open it unless you cut it open. I don't really see anything that says BPA is free. It simply says it meets or exceeds all EN, Canadian and US safety standards. I'm not sure if this should be a red flag or not. I hope someone responds to this and lets me know. It is also a very well made product for children…

Love them for 5 month old and 2 year old

These blocks are awesome! My two year old son is count addicted. He recently found out we have baby food jars for his little sister and has started stacking them and counting them several times a day. I ordered these blocks for him to add and count. I really like that they are a somewhat machine made material but still strong enough to be stackable. My 5 month old and 2 year old love playing with them. I ordered two sets at a time, so I have 20 blocks. Each has 10 colors and each block has a…

Upcoming and still a favorite as of December 2013!

Just thought I should take the time to comment on these because after 2.5 YEARS they are still loved in our home (purchased December 2013). [I'm including this review in the alphabetical version, too, because we threw both sets in one basket and shuffled them together for easy access.] After two kids of long play, they're still going strong and are one of our house favorites. The colors are bright, the blocks are made of thick and durable rubber, and the designs on them are so cute that they…

Superb quality of materials and design

My daughter added Infantino stones to her Revain wish list for my granddaughter's first birthday. Instead, I received them along with the B. Toys brand's Elementosqueeze extension set, which includes lots of pretty shapes and alphabet blocks. I can't imagine that Infantino blocks can match the quality of the materials and design of these blocks. Some of Infantino's reviewers said that their blocks actually smell like plastic—the instructions even said to let the blocks air out before giving…

3rd child: 2nd repeat order!

first let me say that i really love these things! However, this is for my 6 month old Christmas present so I can't speak to that exact order. Although I ordered this product for my other two children when they were about the same age. (The first was 4 months old and the second was 5 months old). So basically if they were old enough to try and keep "a few" and/or play regardless. These things are great, especially for those who prefer to buy toys for their little ones who aren't grown up after a
