I'm surprised that all the reviewers are commenting on its softness - it's really just a regular brush and I can't imagine anyone using it on a child. Disappointed, asked for a refund. I'm giving it two stars because I love that the brand makes their brushes in the UK instead of China.

Great brush for a small child; not so much for a child. The bristles are too soft. Overall great workmanship and product - just not meant for one age group they say. Used on a small jar that is thin/fine, not a ton of hair and it wasn't effective. This is more suitable for a child.

After scouring major stores and finding nothing that looked like a durable quality brush, I found that the trusted Kent brand did exactly what I was looking for. Of course it is more expensive than what you can buy in big retail stores but the quality of this brush is really very good. Fits my 2 year old daughter perfectly! She loves to play with it and brush her hair and I know this item will last as I have several of my own Kent brushes.

I bought this comb because it was labeled as a children's comb for fine hair. It seemed that my other brush was always full of hair. This really is a baby brush, it feels as soft as the brushes I bought my kids when they were little except they were bigger and made of a better material. I still use another brush and this one too because sometimes I have to comb my hair to the top of my head. This brush doesn't touch my scalp, my hair is too thick for that.

I have owned several Kent brushes over the past 40 years and have found them to be superior in design, performance and durability. When my granddaughter was born we went with this guy. She has a full head of long thick hair that works great with this comb. The bristles are softer than my own Kent "soft" bristle brush and seem to separate each strand of hair individually, combing and massaging the scalp. And once started, she just doesn't seem to want us to stop. Great comb for a newborn.

I already have a Kent CSGL and was looking for a smaller wooden brush so I can use styling products and the chemicals don't melt the brush like plastic/rubber brushes. It was getting a bit unsightly so I shampooed it for the first time today, rinsed it off immediately and let it dry. Now that it's dry, the polish will flake off on the brush! I wish I had known that beforehand. I assumed it would turn into one of those run down brushes as the polish keeps peeling off because I can't NOT wash it…
