I wish I had had this when my current toddler was 6 months old. I made her sit with her legs on the floor and play with him. At 9 months this would be perfect if she were moving up. Now that she is 1 year old she wants to mount him. Because of this, I currently have my legs off it. I keep it under the closet and she pulls it out when she wants to play/sit on it. My 1 year old loves it and so do I but I had to replace it after 3 weeks because the surface was sticky and could scratch off. but when i tried to remove it, it also removed the stickers over the touch points. New is not better three weeks after replacement. I wiped the first one with a damp cloth as ordered, but not the second. At this point I emailed Hape because it's obviously an $80 product that's actually made that way with junk sealer/wax and isn't an accidental defect, just ridiculous…
