I read somewhere on the internet that the car seat weighs 6 pounds. It's not and it's quite heavy but I don't know if I can complain about the weight at all when my kid is super safe. He's 8 months old and 28 inches long in 18 meter clothing and fits in well here. He's so comfortable that he falls asleep almost as soon as we lay him down. The gray color hides dirt well since we haven't washed it yet 😴

I returned this item as the 2016 Baby Jogger City Go car seat was roomy for my child but much heavier than advertised. It defeated the purpose for which I decided to invest in this supposedly "lightweight" item in the first place. In fact, it was about as heavy as the Evenflo Safemax car seat that came with the travel system my sister bought for me. I bought this as an extra to make it easier to carry my baby on the go, so I was disappointed to have to return this equally "heavy" car seat.
