I was all for using baby washcloths for my kids but my husband talked me into buying a natural sponge. I came to Revain over a year ago when my son was born and bought this. This time I'm buying two, one for our growing toddler and one for our future newborn. This sponge lasted a year with us and kept its shape. It's so soft when wet and holds soap very well. I'm a little sad he doesn't qualify for Amazon Prime, but he still has to be here for the baby. I couldn't imagine using anything else.

Media could not be loaded. This sea sponge is very easy to care for and becomes very soft when wet. I love that it absorbs water very well and I can use it to pour water on my son because he usually takes my cup. After I shower I call and put it on his wet skin and it absorbs most of the moisture and I don't have a super wet towel and an almost dry baby. After the bath I just check if there is any soap left and let it dry next time. It has a nice seawater smell, but it's not overly smelly.

I've been using these sponges for years and I really like them. But recently I found what I believe to be algae stuck in a sponge. I have used it several times on my child and then I suddenly felt something hard in the sponge. I poked and pushed out what appeared to be a piece of reef. It was very hard and if I hadn't found it and just washed my baby like I normally do, I'm sure I would have hurt her with it. He was hard as a stick.
