I seriously spent 4 hours looking for the perfect/safest table for our 1 year old daughter before settling on this product . Overall, I am very satisfied with the price/quality/design ratio. This is a great "starter" set for little ones. Caution: The chairs are lightweight and easily tip/slip if not used properly. (Yes, right?) Overpriced. Cheap and thin. Chairs weigh one pound, a table can weigh 2 pounds. My daughter can't even try to sit up because the chairs are moving. The metal screws holding it together are large and clearly visible. Ugly. The top is basically a thin piece of chipboard and there are gaps between the top and the sides of the table. See my photo. I think you get what you paid for. It looks good. Easy to assemble. But the quality is very cheap. It's so light my 1 year old picks it up to move it. It also glides very easily, so if it's leaning towards a color or something towards a table, it'll slide off. In fact, the table top and seats are standard Ikea plywood. This table looks so good in our son's playroom. I bought it because it's cute and the right color. I know. the first mistake of the parents; However, this table has held up! My 2 year old son draws a pencil all over the text and with the help of a Lysol wipe the pencil is instantly erased. The table still looks like new! We bought this cute little table for my 1 year old to see if he found it easier to eat at the table than in a high chair! It doesn't *quite* fit the chairs yet, but there's still room to grow!
