High-Quality 4 Pin 6.5 Ft Dash Cam Rear View Backup Camera Extension Cord Review

This was needed to hook up a backup camera to my truck. I have an F350 Super Cab with an 8ft bed. The cable for the camera was about 2 feet short. This finished the job with no loss of clarity in video quality.

Used to extend the spare rear view camera. Not very fortunate as it resulted in a very sharp and clear image becoming very grainy and pixelated. When I remove the extension cord the picture is clear again so I know what the cord is doing.

My original backup camera strap didn't fit my RV. I first tried an extension cord on the end of the camera but that was too much signal loss. I removed it and added this 4 pin cable and it works great now.

If you're mounting a backup camera on anything other than a standard size car, you NEED this 6.5ft extension cable. It's easy to install and works great. Remember this is just a video cable. You still need an extra cable to get to the power supply.

Quality cable. This fits and works great with the Pruveeo D700 which has a very short cord. I used a 4 pin 6 foot. I don't see any drop in performance as it's a rear camera extension which gives poor video quality anyway even without the extension. It's a bit expensive but if you get stuck you have to pay.

I installed a Pruveeo dashcam with mirror mount and backup camera. I used a 6 foot 4 pin extension on my 98 Dodge 4x4 Club Cab with a 6 inch Sport Ram bed. It was the perfect length, with a fringe of about 6 inches. Trucks with an 8ft platform may need a longer extension. Plugs directly into the Pruveeo 4 pin cable and works great.

I have an SUV and a truck and it comes in very handy with a rear view camera and dashcam I want to install! This makes it easy to hook up a backup light from your license plate or wherever you want to place the camera. Also check the number of contacts. I've been studying hard lol. I'm glad they have great customer service!

I probably order 30 cables a year. USB, video, power, whatever. This works fine. this isn't really a review, is it? cables should work. But THIS seller will really help you if you order the wrong cable. It seems like a small detail, but unlike USB and other regular cables, video cables are a bit strange and special. Knowing that the seller will help you if you order the wrong thing is a pretty big deal in my opinion.

It only took me a few meters to finish installing the rear camera. I noticed the cord on the Revain and it was the shortest I could find. Connecting was easy and transferring images and commands was great. As for ease of installation; I guess it depends on how you like lying on your back under the truck. Yes, it was an external installation. So far I haven't had any problems with water, dirt etc. I'm very happy with the extension.
