Bought this for my husband's police belt, all the team wear it. I ordered this one at his request. I've been told that this helps offset some of the weight added by the strap while supporting your back.

Great product but failed with nylon belt clips. Both sets broke within the first 2 days of wearing. Now I don't have enough straps to go around all the materials. Very frustrating to have to go back for such a small issue!

It distributes weight absolutely well but you MUST wear the rear belt clips or it will ride up your back. It is difficult for the guards to get into the belt slots behind the back. One of the clasps broke the first time I put it on.

Seems to help distribute weight better. It takes up a lot of space, so I had to adjust a lot of things on my belt. Guardians aren't the best. I already broke one of my snaps, so I basically only have one left. And other custodians don't have enough time to use them and they don't have custodians available to buy.

I bought this because the wider straps distribute the weight better. The main benefit for me was that they keep my belt and pants from slipping down. I used to have to constantly adjust the height of my belt. This back brace more or less keeps the strap in the lower back, which is where I like to wear mine anyway.

The pad itself is really big, doesn't leave much room for gear on the back of the harness. What if you're using a full patrol strap with the gear on your back, that could be the source of the pain. I wear size 32 pants and a regular size corset runs almost all the way down my back. If you MUST have gear there, you can use both, although impractical OR take a small one. If you have a vest to wear, the regular size is ideal.

The first few times I wore a corset, it was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever worn. After the braces broke it was the best thing I've ever invested in. My back doesn't hurt at the end of the day and it's very comfortable. I wear a bandage every working day and it fits like a glove. If you are skeptical, give this article a try, it will not disappoint you after being hacked. The investment is worth it. Without pain!

Works according to instructions. This is a seam for better weight distribution. I have a wicker version that goes very well with the wicker harness. I use this all the time. The only thing I would like to see is velcro on the inside as I am using internal velcro. My outer braided strap also has velcro so that's the only part that doesn't have it. I really like it no matter what but I think it would be a nice improvement
