Not "soft " - Leisure Sports & Playroom

Bought because it was marked as soft and was very disappointed when it arrived. I was looking for something my younger kids could play with comfortably and this wasn't the case.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Unfashionable

NOT DURABLE - Sport

Bought in April this year to visit grandchildren. It's now August and the ball is still inflated but it's peeling, fading and needing to be replaced again next year! It's in a shady area, but it rains a lot here, so maybe that's the problem.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons

Sturdy and reliable

I actually needed a "sturdy" canvas ball because I hang it on a tree for a wild boxer puppy to play with. I've tried several brands and no other brand has lasted more than a week. This lasted over a month. I highly recommend it for its apparent durability.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not soft and will last about a year

Installation was fairly easy, just attach to the cross bracket at the top of the tether; The ball is really not soft and may hurt children's hands/fingers. This was for outdoor use and after a year in the Texas heat it's basically rock hard and needs replacing.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great Tetherball: Sports

Inflated cane. Excellent quality. The rope came off the ball but it was probably a problem with my knot, not the ball. Re-tied the knot with no problems. It's not as soft as I thought it would be, but no harder than any other tetherball. Will buy again if we need a replacement next year or next year. Good value for money.

Pros
  • That's awesome
Cons
  • Secret

Based on the original look.

I have yet to hang this on a pole but it looks like the ones I used to play on when I was young! In fact, the recessed rope hole is better designed than I remember. (I remember banging my knuckles into the beaded rope hole at the top of the ball multiple times!) The ball feels like the quality needed to take an elementary school student's punishment day after day or for a LONG time along with the weather to suffer . at New Mexico's Southernmost Party! I'm glad our string is tight and moving! My
