They are thin and not worth the money. I first bought basketball for the price for my son but he got a hole in his knee the first time she put them on! Waste of money, the fabric does not protect at all. I ended up buying a pair of Under Armor and they lasted the rest of the season without holes.

According to the sizing info given, I ordered extra small for my 6 year old (who is actually a size smaller) but they were very snug. Yes, I know the compression is tight, I'm no idiot, but they fit my 30 lb three year old waist and hips. If your child is generally stocky they will probably be uncomfortable so I would suggest ordering a size larger than what they tell you.

Like the other reviewer, I tried other Revain brands for my skinny son and they were too big. These, on the other hand, actually fit as they should. My husband has a pair of Baleaf joggers that he loves so I decided to try them and I wasn't disappointed! The fact that they fit my little friend actually made me worry that the pair I bought for my older, heavier son would be too tight for him, but they fit great too!
