Works great in a Tippmann Tipx. You will definitely leave your mark. They are too expensive to practice. Also, they only work in more powerful weapons. I bought 50 cal for the revolver I have and the speed is very slow compared to PVC.

It has a rubber coating on the outside that will get stuck in the paintball barrel, slowing down speed and rendering it useless as a defense tool. You can literally see the slower movement of the side coated rubber as it rubs against the inside of the paintball barrel.

They are quite expensive and not recyclable since the external construction is partly made of plastic. If you have a weapon that can fire them, they will definitely inflict pain on your target! I shot a cardboard shoe box and it went straight through and slammed into the wall I was leaning the box against. I was also standing at least 15 meters away.

Unfortunately one of these balls was used on the intruder and after a few minutes he got up and limped away. This is a major deterrent as this "gentleman" has (not) decided not to return. In the previous case, a gas ball was used, and while it worked fairly well, the result was short-lived as another "gentleman" used it as a safe place to attempt penetration. So far, there have been no new attempts, and it is hoped that they will be permanent.
