Balt Lap Jr. Height-Adjustable Mobile Laptop Workstation Review

The first time I rolled it around it almost fell over with my laptop on it. Even if there is nothing on it, it threatens to tip over if I turn it over. The grip is aluminum with a thin coat of cheap paint so every time I raise or lower it the bolted portion of the grip that rotates to adjust the height is another visible dent/nick/scratch on the stock leaves. I like this coverall for holding the keyboard in the patient office. I have a mouse and monitor on the counter. Not a snap to set up, but for the money it's great. Being able to lean back has reduced my elbow pain. A variant with a slightly larger table top offers space for a mouse. I could spend a few thousand for a proper ambulance, but that's enough.

I'm still looking for that functional piece that will allow me to use my computer/laptop anywhere in the house. This stand requires assembly and is really easy. Roles are the only issue with this build. The instructions say click and tighten - the reels don't click, they must be screwed in, or at least started; then tighten with pliers or a wrench provided by the manufacturer. This table serves its purpose but cannot be used with a bed or chair/sofa with high armrests. On the plus side it was really easy to assemble and I'm not very good with assembly. The downside is that the height doesn't adjust as well as I had hoped and the parts you attach to the actual tabletop to prevent the laptop from sliding off are very uncomfortable (metal) so I remove them . I don't think it's worth the price and probably won't buy it again, but I'll get by with it for now.

This stand is not stable. It tips over very easily. It also has a "slant" that is annoying. I should have gone for a better designed stand with two legs. It's also expensive for what it is. '.Cheap aluminum.The paint is peeling. All in all not worth the money! Buy another!

My mom is in her 80's and we gave her an iPad so she can use Skype and check email to keep in touch with her family. This table is the perfect height for the chair, the medium-sized living room chair. The bottom section slides right under the chair and the table fits right into the chair's armrest, and the top section is flat or sloping so my mom can sit comfortably in her chair and access the computer. The table was delivered quickly, my husband put it together in 20 minutes and it looks great

Extends to work height. Fairly stable for a three wheel design. rolls well Use in the doctor's office. Nice table for the price.
