For the price it's a fabulous set and I use it when I'm eating sushi or dumplings. The sticks are great. The sushi trays are great, the soy sauce/dip trays aren't thick enough or have a high enough rim to hold the soy sauce. I'm still getting them to work but it would be great if they could hold a little more liquid. They're great for pouring sauce at the table or wherever you're sitting, but don't expect to carry them anywhere with liquid in them.

Well you get what you pay for. They are very small, very light and definitely budget friendly. Included my iPhone 6s Plus for the scale. The description says what size the plate is so it's not surprising so I think this would be a good starter kit. I would probably use these plates for my cat when I want to treat her to something special, or when I decide to snack on two or three pieces of sushi or five potato chips. I ordered this product for a graphic design project I was working on. I made a sushi kit for an imaginary sushi restaurant that my classmate came up with. I don't know if this will be useful to others, but I managed to laser it directly onto the board! That's the logo on the bottom right, it didn't work with that.
