Fine cloth pads

It is good to have enough pads on hand. We usually buy them in bulk and they last a while - we have 3 small kids so they tend to bandage bandages pretty quickly because of their 'boo-boo'. I prefer them to plastic every day.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Insecure

MUCH better than plastic patches

I really like the flexible cloth patches. I don't have to worry about constantly putting pressure on them, holding them like plastic. I can wear a fabric one and it won't be sticky day or night, even during my morning shower. I will never go back to plastic bandages after finding these cloth bandages. Pros
  • Quality construction

  • I won't say anything

BEST Self-Adhesive Patches

I've tried regular bandages and bandages from other brands but I'm still going back to Johnson & Johnson. Of these I tried almost every available version: transparent (discontinued unfortunately), pleasantly transparent (collects lint like crazy), waterproof (the cotton part for the wound is small and does not allow the skin around the wound to breathe), hard strips (seemed light to tear and too thick for my needs). I found these patches the best. Great durability, comfortable, breathable and…

As an RN retiree, these flexible patches are my go-to choice!

I currently use them on my fingers and toes so I usually buy a box of 100 large (1 x 3 inch) and a box of 100 different sizes. The flexibility of these patches is very desirable and important for use on appendages that can move delicately and I have found the Bandaid brand to be the best. My hands are shaking very slightly at the moment, probably due to the medication I'm taking while clipping the nails/cuticles on my hands and feet. I sometimes unintentionally cut too tight, especially around…

Terrible toxic smell

I ordered these because they were a great price for 3 boxes. However, I took one to use and noticed this horrible toxic smell! All three boxes smelled as soon as you open the lid, all plasters. The smell was so awful it made my eyes water. I am sending them back for a refund but this is totally unacceptable. What a waste of time and who knows what I inhaled. I don't think the patches have an expiration date other than sterility, but I did notice the 2012 date on the bottom of each box under the
