Strong & Sturdy Best in Office & School Supplies

I am in a power chair and used these boxes to pack for my move to a new home. Her size was perfect for putting her on my lap and moving her around. I like that they have handles and hold heavy books well. And they weren't too expensive. Now I use some of them for storage in my new house.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrive

Good quality labels, indexes and stamps

These boxes are of better quality than the ones I bought at my local stationery store. The tabs on the lid are stronger and longer so I think they hold together better. I just received them and have started packing small items so can't comment on how well they will hold up when moved and stacked. Definitely better than what I've used in the past!

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Good but not great

Lighter price and lighter product

I bought this one (pack of 30) because I have a lot of books to pack. They're completely standard in size and build, but note that these 713s are made from significantly lighter material than the 703s at a lower price point. They still stack into five stacks just as well as hardcover books, but can suffer at the bottom of the stack if unfilled when Overload is severe. So I avoid it; they will be fine.

Pros
  • Nice to look at
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Severe degradation in quality

I have bought literally hundreds of these boxes and have been very satisfied, 5 stars. Until this purchase. The quality is so bad that I wonder if they are fake. See photos. The cardboard is of poor quality, creased, some are not even glued, the folds are in the wrong place, the box does not fold properly, the print is incomplete. That's very disappointing.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some cons

The perforation does not tear

These boxes have a problem in that the perforation does not tear easily. Instead, they are difficult to tear and will end up tearing the box to which they are attached, reducing the strength of the entire box and requiring duct tape to hold the torn in place. Of the 5 boxes I've used so far, I've had to throw one away and stick the teardrops on three. They are not for heavy files. They're fine as long as you don't download them to the end. Consider a different box based on your needs. I won'tโ€ฆ

the perfect solution for packing/shipping books!

is fantastic. I remember my sister mentioning/recommending "bank boxes" for books many years ago when I moved into my house - they have *handles* on the side and lid for two main reasons and they aren't very big, so you won't overstuff them, making them very heavy due to the weight of the books... and almost impossible to move! I'm not moving anymore, but all my hardwood floors are being renewed so I can move too. Everything has to be packed up and taken either to the attic, to the basement orโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

Sturdy and strong enough to store a decent amount of weight.

I've been looking for the right boxes to store my books for a long time. With over 1500 volumes in English and about half of them in other languages, I needed a way to store them for the short or long term. They work great. I was able to stack them 6 high without exceeding their rated stack weight and they hold up great. The removable lid was non-negotiable for me as I don't want to waste time fiddling with valves when I'm in the middle of research/writing (I'm very easily distracted, soโ€ฆ

  • Finally bought

bad party? - Labels, indexes and stamps

I have already ordered these boxes and have been very satisfied. A while ago I ordered a large number of pen gear boxes from Walmart. After this last batch of Banker boxes I have to say that the quality of the boxes from Walmart was much better. They fold in a split second and feel stronger. That batch of bankers I received was awful. The perforation is more torn than split, the boxes do not stack well. Some of them are crooked, and when they have to be folded, they create creases where theyโ€ฆ

No Ribbon Required - Labels & Stickers

They Work Good. Its dimensions are ideal for standard 8.5" x 11" paper in standard folders. It's a good thing you don't have to use tape, although I preferred to put a piece of tape on the inside of the box rather than a piece of cardboard that folds into a handle. That way I know the finger holes will be available once the box is full. Otherwise the handle flaps tend to fall off unless taped shut, then fill them with binders and you can't keep pushing the flap back up because the binders getโ€ฆ
